140 Dogs Hoarded In Florida Found Trapped Inside Wired-Shut Cages

The Humane Society of the United States was assisted by the Dixie County Sheriff’s office in investigating a possible hoarding situation in the state of Florida. They arrived to the residential property afraid of what they might see, and it was even worse than they could’ve imagined.

Over 140 dogs kept in small, dirty enclosures that were wired shut with the intention of keeping them trapped inside forever. How long had these dogs been imprisoned? They couldn’t know for sure, but this was now the beginning of a new chapter in their lives!
