After Being Chained To An Old Truck And Starved For Ten Days, A Disabled Puppy Is Rescued

It’s terrible to see so many dogs and cats being abandoned and abused by their loving owners. However, the creatures who have suffered the most damage may have the most happy endings. Despite their difficulties, they have managed to live happy lives with loving families, as they deserve.

Duke, a 10-month-old puppy who was tied to an old vehicle outside town and had been left to starve to death. The Duke owner no longer loved him and abandoned him as garbage since he was ill.

Duke was very weak as he was without food and water for ten days.

He had fleas everywhere and was stained with his feces. His legs were injured as a result of previous mistreatment, in addition to his malnutrition.

He was rescued and even received medical care for his injured body due to a good individual of the Rudozem Street Dog Rescue center.

Since the group’s shelter was full, Rowles took Duke home and introduced him to his wife and other pets.

“When I first approached him, he seemed OK. For the first several weeks, you could sense his fear in the way he moved and backed away,” Rowles explains. “He developed a strong bond with my wife Diane.
