Every Day a Little Girl Joins Her Dogs To Get A Treat From The Neighbor

Sometimes all you want to do is blend in with the crowd. It makes no difference if Ramona is a child and her brothers Zeus and Blue are dogs. The puppies are delighted to have her around and are always gentle and calm.Ramona enjoys spending time with them, though she hasn’t yet learned to be gentle.

“She adores her giant pups and is constantly trying to give them kisses,” Ramona’s father, Mike Whalley, told The Dodo. “She also thinks they’re amusing, and she regularly bursts out laughing at anything they’re doing, such as chasing their tails or leaping about for toys or treats.”

So when Ramona discovered that her boys were receiving sweets from their neighbor on a daily basis, she knew she had to become involved.

“One afternoon, [our] neighbor, Gary, shared a bologna sandwich with Zeus. “He asked if it was okay, and then he went out and bought boxes of dog goodies to give out,” Whalley recalled. “At first, there was only Zeus, but then Blue came up and joined in.”

Ramona immediately discovered how good her dog brothers had it when the neighbor brought her a freshly baked oatmeal cookie as soon as she was able to consume solid foods. “Now that she’s walking and mobile, she just trots over to the fence and lines up with the dogs so she can get her ‘treats,’” Whalley explained.

He said, “Ramona frequently joins in for the afternoon goodies, which are either a cookie or some Ritz crackers.”
